love to compare
as most of you know, i am a teacher. in texas a first year teacher makes around 30,000 dollars depending on the district. i think its good money. granted, before i worked as a teacher i was a waiter at the black eyed pea (average daily tip count: $25). i think my current job (educating children) is important, and most people i talk to feel the same way. regardless of all that, i spotted this on espn.com
Brian Grant, Los Angeles Lakers ($13,233,434)
What a wonderful world it must be ... to play 15 minutes, score three points and grab three rebounds, and collect a cool $161,383.34 for your night's work.
Let's break that down:
$10,750 per minute
$53,800 a point
Wow.
Yeah, makes you think, huh?

What's worse is that they want more...
needed to say i like the blog.
In defence of Brian Grant, he'd be making $10,750 per minute, OR $53,800 a point. If he were paid for each task on its own, Grant would make $322,650 per game.
I'm not saying he isn't overpaid, I'm just sayin' is all.
