well, christmas is offically over. fuck it.
tonight i went to see Life Aquatic with some friends. i very much enjoyed it and was amused throughout. i thought the imagery was fantastic. the script was great, the characters were fantastic. just magnificant. i realize some will complain about it not being the royal tenenbaums, but it would be a shame if they missed how great this new film actually is. i wish monty were in town to discuss this film and all its greatness.

I am so glad to hear it was good! I love Wes Anderson (although Rushmore was WAY better than Royal T imo).
Have you seen Bottle Rocket? Its the first film Wes and Owen Wilson wrote together. Low budget but hysterical and James Caan kicks ass in it. Anyway...I'll make sure to see the new one in the theatre now.
