christmas eve
i realize that it is christmas eve all over the world right now so my post will hardly be original or anything, but i would like to post some thoughts on whats going on around me. as some of you might know, i live in deep south texas, just 10 miles from mexico. well, it's weird to report, but it is snowing outside right now. when i get pictures, i will try and post them.
sure, i have seen deeper snow. when i lived in pennsylvania, it snowed like a mother and we got 3.5 feet of snow. those were good times.
this is a weird time for me. i am now 26. older than i have ever been, yuckity yuck. i feel like i am too grown up for my own good. a lot of the magic of christmas seems to be gone for me. i just dont feel the same pull like i used to. maybe when i have kids i will feel differntly.
speaking of kids. i think my wife and i want to adopt a baby girl from china. i am going to start looking into the requirments. i saw a special on chinese orphans and i really think it is for me. my wife seems to be in agreement. i really want to do it. if anyone has any clues about pariculars and such, let me know.

The Chinese baby girl idea sounds intriguing. I am sure you will do your research to help deal with the cultural/race issues involved. Good luck.
btw...kids do make Christmas pretty special (although its a struggle because of the damn commercialism of it).

thanks, julie. i still feel old, though. we had an inch and a 1/2 of snow.
oh man only half inch? that must kinda suck. i dunno, have never seen it in front of my eyes ever..
anyway, about the baby girl, i think its a really exciting idea.. but i'm not trying to down you or anything of that sort, i just wanna make sure that you don't get doped k` cos my friend got doped and they were really good. so be wise and make sure you know them! as in the agency or wahtever` :)
oh yea, happy christmas! btw, christmas only feels like christmas only if we allow ourselves to Feel like it. erm. i think i fully understood what i just said. lol
