Benchmark
Well, today is the benchmark testing day for reading. all the students hate it and, for that matter, the teachers do as well. in a way its very massochistic of the district to have us benchmark. they know how bad things are, and they just keep wanting it slapped in their faces. oh well, can't wait to see the scores.
yesterday (and today) i was sick and feeling under the weather. yesterday i took off work and lied around the house. i realized, however, that going to work ain't all bad if you have nothing to do. lying around the house is incredibly boring. around noon i was wishing i was at school.
so now i am here, waiting for this test to be over with...it will take a while.

i can so understand how bored you felt! i stayed home for 24 hrs the day i was sick in my head. i was being lazee!
Sometimes having nothing to do is great, but only for so long. My lot have exams after Christmas, but they're on the second assignment of the term. Luckily I miss out on marking, but getting them to do the work is almost as bad! :)
yeah, i wish i didn't have score all their work, but it sort of comes with the trade.
