You remember watching the bogus tv news at the beginning of each school day? Yeah, you remember. Bad reporting of sruface news. No insight, no thought, just whatever is allowed and approved by the powers that be. I have to watch this crap each and everyday. The children hardly pay attention, so why do we play it?
On another note, I am thrilled to see that the cardinals and red sox are playing in the fall classic on saturday. Both teams have a rich history of professionalism and success. I couldn't wish for a better matchup.

I don't remember channel 1. Am I too old? Blah! If ya don't mind me asking, What grade do you teach? I'm mildly considering teaching...
I teach 7th grade. When I went to college I had no idea I would be doing this for a living, but this is my second year, and hell, it pays the bills. The job itself is rewarding, sometimes. It's nice to see students learn, but tough when they dont care enough to. So I guess it's a mixed bag.
